With over 15 years of experience in community association management, Sonja Williams has built her career on integrity, responsiveness, and a passion for helping communities thrive. Before founding Sunshai Community Management, she managed a wide range of communities across Minnesota, as well as high-rise and large-scale associations in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and Burbank. Her extensive background includes overseeing multi-million-dollar budgets, coordinating complex restoration projects, guiding boards through special assessments, and developing streamlined operating procedures that bring clarity and transparency to both boards and residents.

Sonja launched Sunshai Community Management with a simple but powerful vision: quality over quantity. She believes every community deserves a manager who has the time, resources, and dedication to provide truly personalized service. Unlike traditional firms where managers juggle a dozen or more accounts, Sonja limits her portfolio to ensure every board and resident receives the attention and responsiveness they deserve.

Known for her hands-on leadership style, Sonja excels at building strong relationships with board members, vendors, and homeowners alike. She is deeply committed to raising the bar in the industry by focusing on proactive communication, transparent financial reporting, and long-term planning that protects property values and enhances quality of life.

At her core, Sonja is more than a manager—she is a trusted partner to the communities she serves. Her mission is to create lasting value by aligning professional management with compassion, accountability, and respect.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sonja is a proud mother of two grown children (ages 26 and 23) and a loving grandmother. She's also a dog mom to the cutest Shih Tzu, who keeps her days filled with joy. Family is the heartbeat of Sonja's life, and she brings that same sense of care, balance, and commitment to the communities she serves.

Jordan serves as the financial backbone of Sunshai Community Management. Adapting at managing the financial operations of the HOA's that we managed. Jordan meticulously handles accounting, budgeting, and reporting providing board members with clear financial insights. With a strong background in accounting and a keen eye for detail, Jordan ensures accuracy and transparency in all financial matters. 

Jordan is happily married with three children, and family is the foundation of his life. Whether he's helping with homework, cheering his daughters on at weekend games, or enjoying family road trips, Jordan values the same balance and stability at home that he brings to Sunshai's financial strategies. His family-first mindset gives him a grounded perspective that resonates with the communities he serves.

Jordan and his family share their home with their two golden retrievers who are a much a part of the family as anyone else. 

Maya is a dynamic business development strategist who focuses on growth opportunities for Sunshai Community Management. She connects with HOA board members, identifies prospects, and crafts personalized proposals that highlights Sunshai Community Management boutique service model. Outside of work, Maya is a stronger believer in family first. Maya is married with two children, and her family is her greatest source of inspiration. She often shares stories about family traditions, cheering at weekend soccer games or taking family hikes.
