Sunshai Community Management is seeking an Independent Business Development Consultant to help identify and refer potential HOA and condominium management opportunities in the Twin Cities market.
Sunshai is a boutique community association management company built on transparency, professionalism, responsive service, and relationship-based management. We are growing intentionally and looking to connect with ethical, relationship-driven professionals who understand the HOA and condominium industry.
About the Opportunity
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity. This is not an hourly, salaried, part-time employee, full-time employee, or W-2 position.
The consultant will work independently to identify potential HOA and condominium management opportunities, make introductions, and support relationship-building efforts that may lead to signed management contracts with Sunshai Community Management.

Responsibilities May Include:
Identifying potential HOA and condominium communities that may need professional management services.
Making introductions to board members, developers, vendors, industry contacts, or decision-makers.
Building professional relationships within the HOA, condominium, real estate, and vendor community.
Sharing general information about Sunshai Community Management in a professional and ethical manner.
Providing qualified referral opportunities to Sunshai for follow-up.
Maintaining confidentiality regarding Sunshai’s business strategy, prospects, proposals, pricing, and company materials.
Avoiding conflicts of interest with any current employer, client, association, vendor, or management company.
Compensation
This is a commission-only independent contractor opportunity.
Compensation is paid per signed management contract, subject to the terms of a written independent contractor agreement.
Commission is paid after a referred association signs a management agreement with Sunshai Community Management and pays the first full month of management fees.
Final commission terms, scope, confidentiality expectations, payment timing, and qualifying criteria will be outlined in a written agreement before any work begins.
Conflict-of-Interest Disclosure
Because the community association management industry is highly relationship-based and connected, applicants must disclose any current employment, consulting relationships, confidentiality agreements, non-solicitation obligations, outside-work restrictions, or potential conflicts of interest with any HOA management company, condominium management company, community association, vendor, or related organization.
Sunshai Community Management will not ask applicants or consultants to share confidential information, proprietary information, client lists, pricing, proposals, internal processes, trade secrets, or protected business information from any current or former employer, client, association, or management company.
